To support Niger State’s ambitious agricultural transformation, a comprehensive geospatial analysis was conducted to optimize land use, enhance productivity and ensure sustainable practices. The analysis focused on six key deliverables: land suitability maps for feedlots and pastures, pasture health and carrying capacity maps, soil fertility and crop suitability maps, high-resolution drone maps of proposed land, risk maps for sanitary control, and cost-benefit analysis maps.
